FAQ
How do you approach a product and market you don’t yet fully understand?
There are three areas I will dig into before I start a project: the product, the market, and the audience. I will study your material and do my own research until I have a clear and comprehensive understanding of all three.
What do you need from me to do your best work — and what do you refuse to work without?
I need access to your material on product, competitors and audience to help me understand the context. Obviously, if you have an ICP and/or messaging document, these will form the basis. If not, we’ll define these in the brief that every content project must have.
What does your writing process usually look like from start to finish?
After we agree on a brief including the core message, the purpose, and other decisive parameters, I start with research. This makes up about 40% of the work. The writing is another 30%. The rest is editing, which is where the magic happens.
Does your focus on quality slow you down?
I value quality, but even worse than low quality content is no content at all. Quantity comes from working efficiently. To me that means maximum clarity and alignment from the get-to and following a proven process.
What is your ideal client like?
Clients who value high-quality, well-researched content and understand that strong messaging is a strategic asset, not an afterthought.
What if we’re still figuring things out internally?
That’s fine. Many clients are. My role starts exactly there: bring structure, language, and clarity to something that’s still taking shape. What matters is that you’re willing to think things through together.
Is this a good fit if we’re still early or pre-launch?
Yes,early-stage work benefits most from getting the fundamentals right: positioning, narrative, and language. That said, you should be ready to make decisions, not just explore ideas endlessly.
What happens if you disagree with our messaging direction?
You always have the final say. That said, if you hire me as an expert, I will share my professional perspective openly and clearly. My role is to help you avoid blind spots, not to overrule decisions.
What makes your approach different from agency or AI-generated content?
I am human, and so are your clients. An LLM will provide the same information, without the power to persuade because it cannot place emotion or deeper meaning between the lines. I use AI to automate tasks and speed up processes. It can also help with optimization and structure.
With an agency you are one of many clients. They usually follow given concepts. I work with you personally to develop the unique content approach that represents you best.
What are your favorite types of content?
I love writing long-form, research based content, such as white papers, case studies, and e-books. Then I like to break them down and repurpose for short-form content like blogs, social media posts, video scripts.
